About SoCretely
Safety
Safety is not a policy at SoCretely. It is a core value that guides every field assignment and every decision we make.
Safety on Every Site
Whether we are on an active construction site or inside an occupied residence, safety is a constant priority. Our technicians work in a range of environments and are trained to recognize and respond to the hazards specific to each.
For CMT work, that means coordinating safely with active crews, following site-specific protocols, and wearing appropriate PPE on every assignment. For lead inspection and risk assessment work, it means following EPA lead-safe work practice guidelines to protect both our technicians and the building occupants we are there to serve.
SoCretely's safety commitment begins before we arrive on site and carries through every test, sample, and report we deliver.

Our Safety Practices
OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Field Trained Technicians
Our field technicians complete OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 construction safety training, ensuring they understand and follow site safety requirements on every project.
PPE Compliance
Appropriate personal protective equipment is worn on all field assignments. We follow site-specific PPE requirements and maintain our own standards where applicable.
Pre-Task Planning
Before beginning field work, our technicians review site conditions, identify hazards, and confirm safe access to testing locations.
Lead Safe Work Practices
Lead inspection and sampling work is conducted following EPA lead safe work practice guidelines to protect our technicians and building occupants.
Site Coordination
We coordinate with general contractors and site supervisors to ensure our technicians are integrated safely into active construction environments.
Mental Wellness Is Part of Safety
At SoCretely, safety means more than wearing the right gear. It means showing up for our team as whole people. Construction and inspection work is physically demanding, and it can also be mentally and emotionally taxing. We take that seriously.
We are committed to building a team environment where people feel supported, not just on the job site but in their overall wellbeing. That means encouraging open communication, checking in on one another, and making space for honest conversations about stress, workload, and mental health.
A team that feels valued and supported performs better, stays safer, and delivers better results for our clients. That connection between people and performance is at the heart of how SoCretely operates.
How We Support Our Team
- Open communication and a culture of mutual respect
- Awareness of stress and fatigue in the field
- Reasonable workloads and clear expectations
- Encouragement to speak up without fear
- A team environment where every person is valued
